Concentrated fruit juices are natural foods that taste sweeter than honey or any syrup or sugar, so less is needed in any recipe. With 280 calories per 100 grams, they beat sugar's 385 calories for the same amount. Besides the nutrition advantage, the concentrates are humectants, keeping baked goods fresher for a longer period of time.
