DrB here!! Do you want to prevent heart disease? Do you know that most heart disease challenges can be eliminated by eating the right food? If you continue eating TRANS FAT or partially hydrogenated fats. Trans fats are found in nearly every package of processed food that is in your pantry. Do me a favor and check your packages and send me a comment.Heart disease accelerates when there is inflammation. Trans fat which by the way nearly six billion pounds are used every year in the US. The restaurant industry alone uses nearly 300 billion pounds. That is a lot of fat – do you ever think about what the food you order when you’re out to eat is fried in Trans fat? Olive oil, flax oil and other natural oils have C shaped molecules, Trans fat molecules are T shaped. C’s and T’s do not interface. When you continue to eat T shaped fat molecules in the processed food that you grab here and there, over time will create inflammation. Trans fat was originally designed to replace butter. Butter is not good or bad, it is neutral – when you eat too much of it, you will add too much fat in your body. Be logical do not avoid butter, use it – avoid all the Trans fat you can.One last thought, there are many reasons people have heart attacks, one leading cause beside Trans fat is being overweight. When you have extra pounds your blood vessels get squeezed, the extra pressure on your blood vessels creates a burden on your blood vessels and your blood pressure will elevate. High blood
pressure burdens heart muscle and causes heart muscle weakness and potential for heart comprise. DrB
