A Dr. Bob “Approved” Salad

Deb and I have a salad everyday for lunch and I would suggest you do the same. Green food is one of the critical foods for long-term optimal health. Deb and I use mixed greens, red, yellow, or orange bell peppers, radishes, mushrooms, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, chicken, basil, parsley, dill, chives, shredded carrots, cherry tomatoes, and an avocado. We also use flax and olive oil with balsamic vinegar as our dressing and sprinkle Celtic Sea Salt for added taste.

Ways to prepare greens:

1. Saute: olive, coconut, and rice oil

2. Steam: stainless steel or bamboo

3. Raw: Raw cruciferous impacts your thyroid, it also includes sulfur

What organs enjoy greens?

Stomach, liver, colon, and brain.
