If You Cannot Pronounce, Do Not Eat or Use

Shop smart as a label reader. For example when you see “1, 4-Dioxane” know it is a cancer-causing contaminant found in many ingredients commonly used in cosmetics and personal care products. It may not be listed on the label because manufacturers are not required to disclose contaminants. Ingredients that may be contaminated with 1, 4-Dioxane include:

Polysorbates, polyoxyethylene, polyethylene, polyetheiene glycol, any chemical with “peg” in its name, and anything ending in “eth”, such as sodium laureth sulfate.

I also want you to be aware of a term called endocrine disruptors. Parabens, in addition to being preservatives, are xenoestrogens or xenohormones. These:

– Disrupt your endocrine system

– Disturb the hormone balance in your body

– Cause allergic reactions

– Have been found in breast cancer tumors

According to the article, it is not known if they cause breast cancer. It is my opinion that they do, by altering normal physiology. The most common parabens used in cosmetics and personal care products include: butylparaben, ethylparaben, and propylparaben. I know this may seem confusing; I attempted to make it easy. I would suggest you look for 1, 4-Dioxane and Paraben in your products. I bring this up because I have several new patients that had cancer; one even had her breast removed. She has been on iodine, as I suggested at a seminar, for some time, and guess what? Her teeth are getting closer. After she read my “Drugless Guide to Balancing Female Hormones” she realized her thyroid was low and might have been the cause of her cancer. These chemicals mentioned above create liver stress and wreak havoc on your thyroid.
