I have a good question for you. I have GI issues on my runs. I am currently training for a full marathon and whenever I do longer runs over 3 miles, I have a sudden and overwhelming need to evacuate my bowels. I really need to get this under control and quite honestly, do not know if that is possible or not. I do NOT have a daily regimen where I do poop everyday, which I assume is part of the problem. So I am not sure if even getting on a regular bathroom schedule would help alleviate this issue. It is uncomfortable and annoying. I try and plan my runs around where a bathroom may be, but that is not always possible, which unfortunately causes me to have to carry toilet paper on a run.  Any thoughts of how I can get myself through this.

I would suggest finding a skilled chiropractor first, while avoiding dairy and gluten. Make sure your adrenal glands are not exhausted. (More info in video)

My question I’m hoping you can address in your next session is: I would like to get myself off of two heart medications I am currently being subscribed. One is for heart rate and one is for heart rhythm. Flecanaid and Atenolol. I know taking both of these long term is bad for me so I would like an alternative if possible from pharmaceuticals.

I do not have a license to take someone off their heart meds, but we use an Acoustic CardioGraph in our practice to help determine heart health. Check out our Facebook page on our recent Vitamin B video.

I was watching one of your videos on YouTube. And it said if I have any questions email you so one of my questions is about iodine I have Hashimoto’s and was told that iodine would be bad for me. But watching your video you’re saying that iodine good and needed for me. I’m confused could you please let me know which one is right?  I’m trying to get myself to feeling better and I keep getting mixed reviews from people. I was taken chlorella supplement and noticed that my thyroid got a little and enlarged. Now I’m not exactly sure if it was the iodine in there that did it but I’m thinking it is because I was told that if you have Hashimoto’s and autoimmune disease that iodine is not good for you and you do not want to supplement with that.

We follow the numbers, TSH, T3 & T4. I would also encourage a urine-iodine loading test. I would also avoid gluten and possibly add selenium.

My blood pressure, especially my diastolic numbers are high. This is when I am sleeping. My numbers range from 84 -92, usually high 80s. I’ve tried a number of things having some success. But no real consistency. Any suggestions?

What sunscreen do you recommend for children under age 6 ?? The sun is not good for their skin but swelling of the face and a rash is worse after application. Thank you I value your opinions.  You are the best!

We use the Complete Kare Spray at our practice. I would not buy anything at a general pharmacy, rather look at all of the ingredients to make sure nothing artificial is in them.

Dr. Bob you have talked recently about thinning hair?  Where does one start to stop the loss and thinning of hair?

I would begin to make sure you are adding oils and minerals, while minimizing stress levels.
