Minerals act as a spark plug in your body. Many common health problems are actually caused by a lack of minerals in the body. Cramps at night in the legs may suggest a need for calcium; make sure you are eating almonds and sesame seeds. Large pores on your face may be due to low zinc levels, and a lack of magnesium can result in constipation. If you crave sweets and suffer with blood sugar stress symptoms like high and low energy, these may be body signals that you are depleted in minerals, including chromium. Personally, I use Celtic Sea Salt regularly, which is an excellent source of minerals, and will help control blood pressure. Adding one-fourth teaspoon of Celtic Sea Salt to a quart of water and sipping on it during the day is a logical approach to supplement with a sufficient amount of minerals.
