Any type of skin challenge is a body signal that too many toxins are present in the body. Detoxifying organs do their best to eliminate the excess, and still you have problems. I have found consumption of any dairy product has the potential to create skin challenges.
I encourage patients to cut back on wheat and soy, which deplete the supply of zinc that is important for strong, healthy skin. Drink water from a pure source, use unsweetened almond and coconut milk instead of cow’s milk, and eat whole foods like one organic medium carrot per day. Omega-3 oils including flax and fish (anchovy/sardine) have shown positive results with acne, too.
