High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure is very common today and often a result of poor diet and lifestyle choices. The consumption of gluten and a stressful lifestyle lead to magnesium deficiencies. I also see blood pressure issues in patients who do not have enough vitamin D (if they are overweight and do not drink enough water). Your adrenal glands also play a role with high blood pressure; stress causes the secretion of adrenaline, which stimulates heart function. Continuous stress causes a release of more adrenaline, causing stress to the heart and high blood pressure.

If you want to prevent heart challenges, lose weight (limit calorie consumption), drink water, take one tablespoon of flax per one hundred pounds of body weight, and add greens (kale, spinach, broccoli) to your diet.
