Description

Your skin is a report card on how your liver is performing. You may have suffered from acne when you were a teenager, which has carried over into adulthood. The skin is one of the largest organs in the body and is used to rid the body of unwanted substances. In my experience, skin challenges can almost always be traced to an overworked liver handling toxic food, beverages, and even over-the-counter and prescription medications.

System

The skin is a member of the integumentary system, which is a multifaceted system protecting you from the environment and creating a balance with your surroundings. The skin is the main component of the system interfacing with the environment and is a primary detoxifying organ – an essential factor in vitamin D creation. Hair and nails are also part of the system, protecting you from environment attacks.

Drugless Skin Protocol

-Have an Acoustic CardioGraph to look for signs of liver compromise.

-Have a physical exam, radiographs, and body-size assessment to get information about your liver.

-Lose weight; men should have a waistline under forty inches, women under thirty-five inches.

-Avoid skin and liver-compromising foods and supplements, including dairy, refined grains, processed foods, fruit, alcohol, soda, high-fructose corn syrup, aspartame, and synthetic vitamins.

-Drink water from a pure source.

-Consider a liver-cleansing herb such as milk thistle, dandelion root, or peppermint leaf.

-Add B vitamins to support estrogen clearing via the liver, if you are a woman with tender breasts and heavy menses.

-Apply a castor-oil pack to the right abdomen at least twice a week.

-Have the lower spine adjusted, to support optimal nervous system communication to the tissues in the rectal area and lower extremities.

Testimonial

I have suffered from severe eczema since I was a small child. Throughout my life, I would get some relief, but it was always a temporary fix. Due to the risk of infection, I even lost my job as a respiratory therapist and had to go on disability for a short time.

In the year 2000, I had a severe breakout, and I was told by another healthcare provider that I had gluten sensitivity. I removed all gluten products from my diet, and along with his care, it did clear up for a few years. I had another eruption in 2005 and was put on oral prednisone and more ointments. I saw another dermatologist, who wanted to put me on immunosuppressant medications, which I declined because one of the side effects is a chance of lymphoma. The rash once again cleared up temporarily.

I came to see Dr. Bob, hoping there would be some help. During this visit, I now had eczema on my face and around my eyes. I have been receiving spinal adjustments from The Drugless Doctors weekly. I also had a fatty acid test, which determined I was low in omega-3 oils, and I started taking one tablespoon of flaxseed oil every day – this has been miraculous! Last but not least, Dr. Bob instructed me to use castor-oil packs. I have found this to be most helpful. When I stop using the castor oil packs, the rash still comes back, so I’m now committed to using the pack two or three times per week.

The last year has resulted in the healing of my skin. It has almost completely cleared, and I have lost eight pounds, too! – M.A.E
