Dr. Bob's Chili

This recipe can be served for lunch or dinner, and then, depending on how many people you’re feeding, can be used for leftovers!

Dr. Bob’s Chili: Lamb, Chicken, Turkey or Beef

Serving Size: 12, 8 oz. servings


One white or red onion, sliced thinly

One baked head of garlic

One sweet potato baked, then sliced

2 pounds ground lamb, chicken, turkey or beef

2 Tablespoons olive oil

1-2 Teaspoons chili pepper (personal preferences)

1 large can of fire roasted peppers

2 “Amy’s” Brand Organic Chili

1 pint of sliced mushrooms

Celtic Sea Salt™ (to taste)

Chipotle Powder


Place the sweet potato and garlic clove in an oven at 325 F

Heat the oil to medium and add the onions; sauté the onions till translucent

Remove the onions from the pan

Add the ground meat and brown

Continue to sauté the meat adding the organic chili starter; in this case, the Amy’s’ medium brand

Stir and add the fire roasted tomatoes

Remove the sweet potato and garlic clove and cool

Add the remaining ingredients to the pan; mushrooms, sautéed onions, sliced sweet potato and the garlic cloves

Mix the ingredients together and simmer for forty minutes or until all the ingredients are fork tender

Add finely ground chili pepper to taste

Add Celtic Sea Salt™ to taste

Chipotle peppers can be added to each serving for “fire”
