I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I am scared to take levothyroxine. I am already suffering from most of the side effects listed for this drug. What can I eat and drink to get my numbers healthy again?
In our practice, we follow the numbers (TSH, T3, T4). I would also avoid chlorine, bromine, and fluorine.
My son and I were hit by a car crossing the street in a crosswalk. I was able to shield and protect him from any injuries from that but it did have a decent impact on me. We are okay though. My son’s pedi sent us for chest x-rays and a ultrasound on his abdomen. They found gallstones in his gallbladder. I have an appointment set for the end of May with a pediatric gi specialist. I fear what he may say or recommend. Do you have any idea how he could have gotten this? He’s only one! He eats very healthy and is breastfed. He’s not in any kind of pain at the moment but I’m so scared for him. So any kind of advice, input, and recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time and help!
I would suggest peppermint drops from Gaia Herbs and phosphatidylcholine. You may consider a consultation or coming to see us in Cleveland, where we have chiropractors specifically trained in pediatrics.
How do I remove age on my legs?
Not completely sure what you meant by that. I personally take a liquid protein to help with aging and also exercise with bands.
Why do lower extremities swell on high dose Prednisone? What can be done about it?
If it’s for pain, I recommend stopping sugar and fruit consumption.
When using an iodine protocol, such as 50mg/day Iodorol, what should be done for halide detox support?
I personally think 50mg might be too much. I would encourage a urine-iodine loading test and then to treat the numbers accordingly.
Which organs are stressed the most by the release of stored halides like bromine and fluorine?
Body signals would include nausea, metal taste in your mouth, and also stomach and skin distress.
Are there tests for rate of mineral loss on steroids, so we have an idea how much mineral supplements are needed?
I would consider a mineral tissue hair analysis.
Are there alternatives to rx diuretics for edema in lower extremities, from kidney stress due to rx drugs?
We have found that swelling in the legs is often a heart and kidney issue. At our practice, we use an ACG machine to help measure heart movement.
Does a grayish tinge in the white of the eye indicate kidney stress?
I personally do not recall, but after reviewing, it said that it signifies “calm”.
What causes cloudy urine a day or two after a castor oil pack over the liver?
Your body is possibly removing toxins.
Does chronically dry eye indicate kidney or adrenal stress? Is there an alternative to rx eyedrops?
We have noticed that not enough iodine could be a cause of dry eyes.
My eyes are recently tearing a lot, the moment I get outside, why is this? It is very annoying and I do not know why it happens. What can I do, Doctor?

Is it okay to eat tomato seeds? I have been told not to eat them, and since then I always throw them away.
I eat the entire tomato.
I have heard that sleeping on your left side is very good, but I was wondering what you recommend, left side, right side or back side?
I recommend your left-side for sleeping.
Yes, I was wondering what you think of the silver sol? If it’s worth taking and using in the different ways or is it not good to use?
I do not know enough enough silver as nutrition to make a comment.
