-What salt has adequate iodine levels?
The real issue is bromine, fluorine, and chlorine antagonizing iodine (Toothpastes, showering without a shower dechlorinator). Exposure to these elements require more iodine for your optimal health. One suggestion would be to have a urine-iodine loading test to determine the correct amount of iodine your body needs.
-My back has been getting stiff and it makes me feel old, what do you think?
I would recommend purchasing an oximeter. This measures oxygen in your body, if the body is 95 or less, you may have an acid/alkaline issue. We use phosphorous tablets in our practice to help limit stiffness in your body as well.
-Why is iodine important?
The more I study iodine, the more I realize its importance. If you are a female reading this, you can apply liquid iodine to your breast tissue and lower abdomen (ovaries) to help overall thyroid function. (Also, consider a urine-iodine loading test).
