These were the questions that were asked in this episode of #AskDrBob. Click the blue box to watch the video. Thank you for sending us your general health questions. We hope they make a difference in your life.

1. Hi Dr. Bob, how would I know if the eye floaters are caused by a lack of vitamin A? My eye doctor just said she sees them on exam and they are pieces of protein, I’m assuming from the vitreous. Other than that, eyes are healthy. Would the carrots still help?

I recommend eating one medium carrot each day. After a short amount of time, they should go away.

2. What can be done to help with neuropathy problem with a person leg? Thank you so much.

It can be caused by many reasons (lack of blood supply, or a need for minerals). I would focus on vitamin B, Celtic Sea Salt (minerals). It might be low back misalignment, too.

3. Hello. My husband have a syndrome called restless leg syndrome,do you know any natural ways to help with that? Thank you.

I would encourage vitamin B, including Choline and Riboflavin.

From #OptimalU on pH

– I thought oral pH should be slightly alkaline. If it’s on the acidic side it can signal the need for EFA’s…no??

– More pain with an ALKALINE ph? I would have thought the opposite…

I like to see the pH to be 6.5. If it’s 7 or higher, I can often see fibromyalgia issues, and 6.5 or lower is acidic when you would need more minerals. You can test

From #OptimalU on freckles

-I have had freckles all my life – I haven’t eaten soy or wheat (or any other grain) in years & I take a zinc supplement daily! I do have VERY fair skin though!

-Interesting, my grandchild has quite a lot of freckles. We just thought they were cute. Did not know it was an issue.

Over time, I have learned that freckles can be caused from liver congestion, especially when individuals around ten years of age, when their hormones are starting to develop. In adults, I would consider a protocol to clean you liver.
