These were the questions that were asked in this episode of #AskDrBob. Click the blue box to watch the video. Thank you for sending us your general health questions. We hope they make a difference in your life.
1. What is Mal de Debarquement Syndrome?
“Mal de Debarquement Syndrome (or MdDs) is an imbalance or rocking/swaying sensation often both “felt” and “seen” by the sufferer that occurs after exposure to motion (most commonly after a sea cruise or a flight). Although other forms of travel have been known to trigger it.
After alighting or “debarking” (debarquement) the traveller continues to feel “all at sea”, unable to get their land legs back. Although most travellers can identify with this feeling and do actually experience it temporarily after disembarking, unfortunately in the case of MdDS sufferers it can persist for many weeks, months, even years afterwards.
The symptoms are with you constantly, they never leave, nor can they be alleviated by any anti-motion drugs (Stemetil, Serc, etc).”
I would have your cervical spine checked. We have found with vertebrae challenges that they can be “stuck” which can lead to a variety of health challenges. Feel free to visit us in the Cleveland area, http://www.druglessdrs.com. Also, take your blood pressure from a sit to a stand, too.
2. I did the gallbladder flush. After taking the evoo mixture, it upset my stomach so bad, that I threw up about 4 a.m. Needless, to say it seemed to have no effect in my bile. I haven’t been able to figure out why I threw up. The only thing I thought was because I didn’t purchase an organic olive oil, although I bought a good ‘commercial’ extra virgin olive oil.
Make sure to eat a ½ red apple per day since that will help your body’s bile. (More in video)
3. Could I take peppermint oil with a medical condition of hep c . I’m eating healthy, good fluid intake but have a slow sluggishness digestive system.
Hepatitis is an inflamed liver. To use it, will be your discretion. Peppermint (oil, herb) is very useful to stimulate liver function, but better off to eat the ½ red apple each day.
