I enjoyed learning from this video! There is a market promoting progesterone cream to balance estrogen. I’m curious if you feel topical progesterone is helpful for estrogen balance/dominance?
I do not promote progesterone (we want your body to make its own progesterone). We focus on your adrenals and ovary support. Read more in my “Drugless Guide to Balancing Female Hormones.”
Hi I have started eating Dr. Bob’s baked beets, must say friend and family like them too. My question is how long must I eat them before I see a difference in my cholesterol levels?
Beets are only one factor in lowering cholesterol. They address the dietary aspecting, assisting the body in cleaning up the liver. When cholesterol is up and triglycerides are normal, cholesterol can be elevated because of stress.
Hi I really love the work you do, how can I stop recurrent yeast infections I have been having for the past six months, I have tried so much from apple cider to others but it seems not to work. Kindly help.
I would stay away from sugar, fruit, and grains. We use a product at our practice called Caprin – you may consider taking up to 3 daily.
Good morning, my son’s best friend is 19, not overweight, he appears to be healthy, I know he was consuming Monster and other energy drinks for some time, he has stopped. I don’t truly know the rest of his patterns for eating etc, however his heart has been racing and he has gone to the hospital and doctor at the ER a couple weeks ago, they gave him IV potassium and magnesium. The doctor said she might put him on a beta blocker. Which he read the side effects and isn’t planning to go that route. They have done all the normal test and are waiting for a referral to the cardiologist. Do you have information to consider that I can share with him?
I am sure he maxed out his adrenal glands. I would suggest an adrenal saliva test and supplement accordingly. I would suggest an adaptogen – we use a product called ADHS (2 in the morning, 2 at noon).
Went to ER with horrible pain and discovered I have gallstones. Any way to live with that or do I need to have my gallbladder removed?
We have helped many people with gallstones – read my “Guide to Prevent Surgery,” for more information. We begin with Phosphatidylcholine (three daily).
What type of brand name cereal do you recommend? It seems like most contain whole wheat. The only one I see in the aisle is Quaker Oats Puffed Rice.
I do not recommend any type of cereal.
I have always felt that skipping breakfast is bad for your health. However, a friend of mine thinks it is harmless because nothing has happened in all of the years she goes without breakfast. She is not hungry in the mornings and waits until about 11:30 a.m. to eat breakfast. She feels full and therefore thinks she doesn’t need to eat. That is a lot of hours between dinner and an 11:30 a.m. breakfast. Please advise. Thank you!
Breakfast supplies the body fuel for the day. The key is to avoid refined grains. I would focus on mid glycemic foods that I discuss in more detail in “Dr. Bob’s Guide to Optimal Health.”
Sometimes I see tiny, particles going around from my eyes. Am I deficient in something, please tell me what it is. Thanks
You may need vitamin A. I personally take a product called AE Mulsion Forte, an excellent source.
