#OptimalU-Week 2 Recap
January 15, 2014
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are enjoying the photos and videos that we have put together for you in order to have the best #OptimalU experience! If you are interested in a free preview of my updated “Guide to Optimal Health”, you can click here. Also, we just created our LIVE on YouTube event which will take place on January 29th at 9PM. You can view that here.
Day 1: If you’ve ever had a kidney stone made of calcium oxalate & you excrete excess calcium, limit your protein from meat, seafood, poultry, and dairy products to 50g a day.
Day 2: In addition to purified water, there are several healthier options from which to choose. Select grape juice sweetened drinks as a soda option & herbal tea with fresh mint tea leaves in place of coffee.
Day 3: Water sources should be tested, including treated municipal sources, for toxic material if you have challenging health conditions. The bottom photo is to show everyone who’s not by Lake Erie, that it is a sheet of ice!
Day 4: Limit soy consumption and read labels. Add zinc-rich raw pumpkin seeds to your salad.
Day 5: Off
Day 6: Soak your feet in hot Epsom salt water and enjoy the natural release of toxic cellular debris. Do weekly if you have swollen joints.
Day 7: In an analysis of ninety thousand individuals, those who drank soda or fruit drinks at least once a day had nearly twice the risk of diabetes compared to people who drank those beverages less than once a month. Though the soda drinkers also weighed more and ate more, that didn’t entirely explain their higher risk. In a nutshell, don’t drink soda.
