What do you recommend for high blood pressure.
We typically see low magnesium in those with high blood pressure. There are other factors including: not drinking enough water, obesity, stress, and other nutrient needs.
Dr Bob what is your opinion on stem cell replacement?
I personally do not really know enough about it to make a comment.
I am looking for an option to get more healthy foods in my lifestyle. I drive on the road Monday through Thursday. I have a cooler but unfortunately some of the motels are very small so I’m lucky if I can fit four to five containers of food in my hotel refrigerator. I’m not able to handle nuts right now. I have a lot of histamine intolerance problems right now going on and I’m doing some functional medicine stuff so I have on limitations with food. They track me in a 2-mile radius and most of my route for rural routes restaurants are really not too much of an option because we want to stay away from fast food.
I recommend hard boiled eggs since the keep for up to five days, as well as carrots and apples. I would put the food you do take into containers that can stack in a refrigerator. (More in video)
What would you say the first few steps to helping someone’s immune system would be?
I would avoid sugar since it paralyzes your immune system.
I recently started having ringing in my ears? Any suggestions.
I would evaluate what you have been eating recently. I would also avoid dairy and sugar, and if you are stressed, add minerals.
As we begin a new year, with goals of improved/optimal health, do you have a shareable list of annual tests recommended for a general checking-in on ourselves – that we could print and take to our MDs, thus getting them from ordered in a way most insurances would cover – prior to consulting with you, or even working through the material in your books?
We encourage a Chem Profile, Urine, Thyroid, and more. (Contact Us).
Are there natural alternatives to artificial saliva, and viscous eye drops? For persons experiencing such problems from RX medication – or do we need to look deeper and support the liver, which is coping with said pharmaceuticals?
Artificial eye drops, etc. are best replaced by supporting one’s own function, including adding more iodine.
