Hi, what are your opinions on flax milk. Trying  to avoid dairy. My 6 year old daughter is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts, milk and eggs. She can tolerate milk, but I know it’s not good for her. It is unsweetened. Also I saw your post on heart healthy cereals. I have a essentials brand with 5g fiber and 5g sugar. Trader Joe’s brand had 16g of sugar. I normally have veggie omelets or oatmeal and a boiled egg. Every now and then I want cold cereal for taste or convenience. What cereal or cereal requirements do you recommend? Thanks.

I personally do not promote any type of cereal, partially because I recommend going grain-free completely. If you do decide on a dairy-free milk, you must read the ingredients. I would consider a yam or sweet potato as a breakfast alternative to cereal.

I have been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism (all symptoms are hypothyroidism except my TSH, T3 and T4 prove out hyperthyroidism, and now trigeminal neuropathy. I am taking PTU, metoprolol, and oxcapazsapine. My numbers are coming up for my thyroid, my neuropathy is getting worse and I’m gaining so much weight. I am miserable! Is there any natural way to replace all these meds?

As of this time, I would need to know more about you to recommend the best protocol for this situation.

How does oatmeal cause inflammation?

Since it is a grain, whether gluten-free or not, it has the pattern of reducing minerals in the body, which act as cofactors to create anti-inflammatory fat tissue-like hormones which reduce pain. (More info in video)

Dr Bob, what are your thoughts on the sealants the dentist use for teeth?

I am not sure if the sealants would be necessary. (More info in video)

Is gluten-free oatmeal OK or does that cause inflammation also?

I have noticed, contrary to what you read, those individuals who enjoy heart-healthy oatmeal tend to be inflamed.
