These were the questions that were asked in this episode of #AskDrBob. Click the blue box to watch the video. Thank you for sending us your general health questions. We hope they make a difference in your life.

1. What can I do for cholesterol and trigylcerides?

If you have elevated cholesterol (250+) and triglycerides are normal, you probably have stress. If your cholesterol and triglycerides are high, I would recommend getting your hand out of the cookie jar. Also, remove all fruit, and exercise (check out my March #OptimalU). Your vitamin D, depends on your vitamin D test.

2. What can I do for kidney stones?

Minimize or eliminate soda, and drink water. It can be a phosphorous and calcium imbalance (More info in video). A wedge of lemon every 15 minutes will help, too, with 4-6 oz. of water.

3. What about blood thinner(s)?

I do not have a license to take anyone off medication, but you want to make sure your EFA’s are balanced, and not too much omega-6. I do not recommend anyone to take an aspirin. (More info in video).

4. What about melatonin (sleep)?

From my experience, your adrenals might be hyper-accelerated. I would stop sugar and make sure you are in bed by 10.
