I drive a truck 5 day week and stay in a hotel 4 nights, need help with how to eat right and travel easy on my weekends can u help me?
I personally take enough food to last two days when I travel (hard-boiled eggs, vegetables, etc.). I would recommend doing a search on a National Chain of Health Food stores and/or most grocery stores today have organic items.
I have a low TSH and Normal t3 /t4, can i still take iodine?
What first strikes me, is your pituitary is probably tired. We use Cytozyme-PT-HPT at our practice.
Hi! I was wondering why Dr. Bob refers to folic acid in his articles? Is he referring to folate? Everything I read on the net says folic acid is the synthetic version of folate and can be dangerous in large amounts. Thanks!
Folate and folic acid are forms of a water-soluble B vitamin. Folate occurs naturally in food, and folic acid is the synthetic form of this vitamin. We use Folate for gout and Folic acid for anemic issues depending on the problem.
Doctor Bob can you talk to us about methyl groups and their role in helping to prevent autoimmune diseases.
Methyl Groups help the absorption of all nutrients in the body especially sulfur. In vivo, the body converts dietary folic acid to l-methylfolate through a series of enzymatic processes. The final stage is done with the enzyme methyltetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR). Those with certain polymorphisms have inadequate MTHFR activity. (Contact us for more)
Would love some relief from chronic sinusitis
We have found from our experience, peanut butter, gluten, and dairy can create sinus challenges. If you have seasonal concerns, it is a need for iodine (demand on your thyroid).
I had a complete hysterectomy about 8 years ago. I am almost 63 and maybe 40 pounds overweight. So is too much estrogen still a problem for me, due to my weight??
You may need estrogen (contact us for more). You may also consider having your thyroid tested. I would suggest stopping ALL grain foods and focusing on vegetables. (More info in video).
