1. What can be done to get rid of a swollen neck/goiter? Thank you. Much help is needed for my 17 year old son.

My recommendation would be a conduct a TSH T3 T4 blood test, and a TPO  (which we can do). I would also consider adding iodine, and reading my “Men’s Health-The Basics,” where I talk more about thyroid health.

2. How about yogurts that do not contain the high sugar hfcs or corn meal etc. Greek yogurt okay?

From my experience, dairy consumption causes pain and chronic sinuses in your body.

3. So how you apply the pack (castor oil)? How long and how often? Thank you Dr!

Watch the video, and here’s a blog from the #DruglessDetox with more information.

4. Hi Dr, you recommend cruciferous vegetables to balance / lessen estrogen, what about those with thyroid disorder? Cruciferous are contraindicated for those with low thyroid function and/or Hashimoto’s. What are your thoughts?

Most thyroid dysfunction is due to lack of iodine, which bromine, chlorine, and fluorine can impair thyroid function. Removing gluten from your diet if you have Hashimoto’s would be ideal.

5. Hi Dr, when you say 1/3 beet fiber, do you mean raw one? What about juicing it? Will we get the same benefits?

I generally bake my beets (never canned). Make sure that it is ⅓ cup beet fiber. I also rarely juice the beets.

6. Three weeks after I had a parathyroidectomy in March of 2014, my body became covered with welty, itchy, hives. I’ve examined all of the possible external causes and have had 3 rounds of steroids and still can not eliminate them. Are hives related to the parathyroid? Are there any natural remedies to get rid of hives? Thank you.

Most enlarge when you do not have enough vitamin D. I would also include calcium in your daily routine. (More info in video)

  1. How much does it cost for the TSH, T3, T4, & a TPO tests? Are they covered by insurance?

What can be done to get rid of MRSA?

    Thank you. 🙂

  2. HI Dr. Bob,
I’ve been diagnosed with tinnitus and told it’s probably a symptom of stress on the kidneys, abdomen, and cranial and vagus nerves, given I lead a very stressful lifestyle often involving prolonged, intense periods at the computer and in the driver’s seat of a bus, both of which saw me in poor postures for hours at a time, and which saw me eating wrong food at wrong times of the day. I feel like my body has become frightened of me, and the tinnitus is its screaming!

  3. I also had noise in my ears BUT When I changed my diet. It went completely away!!!i went Gluten free Dairy free Soy free!!!

  4. Dr. Bob,
My son 10yrs old has knots growing around his toes, knees, wrist area, and upper arm. He has been diagnosed with osteochondrmas. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them or to prevent them getting bigger or developing new ones?
    Thank for all your help.
    Lori
