#AskDrBob: Back Pain

Hi Everyone!

These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including back pain. If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present it in an upcoming episode. Thank you!

I do drink lots of water however in afternoon I need coffee to finish the day.  How do I know how I have enough of red blood cells?

First, it might be a body signal for adrenal fatigue. Next, you can have your blood cell amount evaluated with a simple test called a CBC with Differential (Contact Us). One of the tests included in the evaluation is called the Hematocrit or HCT, this is the percentage of your red blood cells.

How can I help back pain?

You will want to have standing spinal digital films of your spine evaluated by an experienced skilled Chiropractor. If you are unable to locate one in your area you can visit us in either Westlake, OH or Naples, FL.

I am a 44-year-old male and I get a sudden deep breath sensation from time to time, it is kind of like a hiccup but it is not, it is a short but deep breath which comes without warning. Sometimes it happens right when I go to bed, waking me up. It is becoming a concern, and I would really appreciate your advice. Thank you.

I would be evaluated by a skilled Chiropractor to rule out an alignment issue.

Does flaxseed oil give you the same quality and amount of EPA and DHA a needed as fish oil? What do you take and why?

Flax seed oil/seeds and other omega-3 fat precursors need to go through a metabolic pathway which requires cofactors like B6, Zinc and Magnesium. Trans fat and food additives can sabotage the process. I discuss this in detail in “Dr. Bob’s Trans Fat Survival Guide.” You may consider the Omega Oils Serum Profile.
