Q: I cannot eat apple skins, they tear up my intestines it’s so unbearably painful! I’m afraid to peel them and eat them. Is this IBS?

A: It is possible the pectin, which is a soluble fiber found in high levels in apples, plums and the pulp and peel of citrus fruits. It’s great for most individuals digestion because it helps turn water into a thick gel in your intestines so that your digestion slows down. You may have an issue with it. I would suggest the FIT Test to check for Food Sensitivities.

Q: I was diagnosed with Meniere’s disease and was recommended a low sodium diet. Is Celtic Sea Salt high in sodium?

A: Meniere’s from my experience is common with adrenal stress and sugar. We have found Celtic Sea Salt to be an excellent source of minerals.

Q: I love the quote, “stress cannibalizes minerals in the body.” I’ve heard that simple breathing techniques can alter the pH in our body, so we don’t lose the minerals. Would love to get your thoughts on how this works!

A: Stress typically tends to lower the pH in a body. The body responds by releasing minerals to balance the pH.

Q: Can a B6 issue also cause allergies? Also can estrogen dominance lead to allergies as well?

A: I have not seen B6 or Estrogen lead to allergies. I am not saying it is not possible. B6 is important for the creation of anti-inflammatory fat tissue hormones. Estrogen dominance is common with a congested liver. It really is about whole body health.
