Excessive Sweating
Hi Everyone!
These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including excessive sweating. If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present them in an upcoming episode. Thank you!
Hi Dr. Bob, I am wondering if you have any suggestions for someone with diverticulitis or having a flare up of diverticulitis. Thanks so much. Your help and suggestions are always appreciated!
I would suggest considering the FIT Test. The FIT Test will evaluate over 130 foods and their possible cause of your digestive distress.
I thought this might be a good general question especially for those of us in menopause or transitioning to it. I have recently learned excessive sweating could also be a sign of heart problems in women. When is sweating a cause for concern and what are ‘normal’ hot flashes? Thank you for your thoughts.
I have seen excessive sweating associated with adrenal fatigue. The adrenal glands are important for heart function since they release adrenal hormones which may speed the heart rate. When the adrenals are functioning optimally, the sympathetic nervous system keeps one’s body dry, versus when the parasympathetic nervous system is in charge, the body tends to sweat.
Lab Tests Discussed in Video:
Hello, I was watching Dr. Bob the other day on television. He suggested that if you have floaters, which I have had for 4 years now, to eat a carrot every day and it will go away. Are there any side effects from eating a medium size carrot every day? Also, how long do you have to eat them? Thank you for your help with this.
I have consumed a medium organic carrot for years without any side or bad effects. The floaters could be there a long or short time. The carrot is the precursor of Vitamin A.
What causes Free T3 and Free T4 to be low and not convert correctly?
Typically lack of zinc, B vitamins, progesterone and I am sure more. Excessive cortisone will alter the conversion along with a compromised liver and colon. You may consider Meda-Stim from Biotics Research.
Dr. Bob, I just read how bad bread, rice and potatoes are for memory. That is horrible because I love all the above. Is there any way to make good bread? I have tried other kinds of bread and they just do not fit the bill. I need help with this because I believe the report.
Bread will reduce zinc in the body. Zinc is needed for memory. You could check with your lab results at your alkaline phosphatase a marker for zinc. Also, we have the zinc taste test to help determine if you have a presence. You may consider reading the MEMORY CHAPTER from “Dr. Bob’s Drugless Guide to Mental Health.”
