Flax Allergy
Hi Everyone!
These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including a flax allergy. If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present it in an upcoming episode. Thank you!
I have a lot of foot and ankle pain. What can I do? Sometimes it’s so bad that I am afraid to walk.
I would suggest you locate a skilled chiropractor experienced in extremity work and schedule an assessment. We do evaluate foot issues.
Dr. Bob, I’ve been following you for a long time. I respect your advice. I suffer from chronic migraines and my quality of life is suffering terribly. I am desperate for healing. Any advice? Thank you!
I would locate an experienced skilled chiropractor and have an evaluation. Films of the spine would be very helpful to see if there is a structural cause. Migraines are also impacted by internal health including the food you eat.
Hi, do you have any tips on how to help a bad sunburn?
We use a product called Complete Kare Spray. I would also suggest adding additional calcium, we use Bio-CMP at up to six daily, and also an omega-3 oil. We use Optimal EFA’s at up to three daily.
I have a flax allergy. Can you recommend an alternative? I can eat other nut oils.
If you have a flax allergy, there are a variety of oils you can use: almond, avocado and marine oils. You also could have the FIT Test to see what foods you may be sensitive to.
How can I improve my memory?
I have noticed that over time, zinc levels impact one’s memory. Low zinc levels impair your ability to recall events. We can evaluate zinc levels on a blood test by looking at the level of an enzyme called alkaline phosphatase. I like to see it be at 80, anytime the number is under 60 we will supplement with Zn-Zyme Forte and we also encourage no sugar or soy which deplete zinc.
