Non-Dairy Calcium
Hi Everyone!
These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including non-dairy calcium. If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present it in an upcoming episode. Thank you!
Hi Dr Bob, we very much appreciate reading and listening to your health tips! Thank you! My husband and I have decided to try going without sugar for one whole month to see if his allergy and resp symptoms improve, and if my general malaise decreases. But we wondered about the specifics like can we use sugar substitutes like stevia or honey?
I honestly do not use any sweetener. (More info in video)
I seem to be getting more sensitive to certain foods. Gluten was first, then dairy now peanuts. I’m 65 and never was affected by any foods (just cats, lol). Why is this happening and what can I do to prevent rashes?
I would suggest a digestive aid. For more information, contact us. Also mentioned: Opti-Chem Profile.
Hi, Dr.Bob. I have your book Guide to Optimal Health and am going through it one day at a time.
Can you please recommend some alternative treatment to painkillers as I need to take them daily. I had a knee arthroscopy, after nearly 2 yrs of pain behind my knee. Doctors say it is grade 2 osteoarthritis.
Only treatment was physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and exercise. Only I am so sore all the time. My muscles ache from the waist down. And I am on painkillers daily. Please can you recommend some alternative pain relief? I have just turned 61 and in good health otherwise.
I would stop sugar and dairy, which always call pain. We use an enzyme-based product to relieve pain and inflammation called Intenzyme Forte.
Dupuytren’s contracture. Is there anything to help, apart from surgery?
I would suggest applying liquid iodine to your hand, and/or supplement with Vitamin B6.
How do I stop muscle atrophy?
It depends if there is an issue and no use of the area.
How can i heal my bloated stomach?
I would find that the top three body signals would be:
- Not enough digestive enzymes 2. Liver/Gallbladder distress 3. Food combining
More info in video.
What can i do for sciatic pain?
I would suggest standing spinal films from a skilled chiropractor with a thorough assessment.
Which vegetables should not be eaten raw?
In my experience, you can eat all vegetables raw, but if you find that any give you digestive discomfort, try steaming or sauteing in olive oil.
The best way to supplement calcium for over 40 women when you’ve cut out cow’s milk?
I would eat green food, like kale. I would also take an acid-based calcium, like lactate or citrate.
