Puffy Eyes
Hi Everyone!
These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including helping puffy eyes . If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present it in an upcoming episode. Thank you!
What is your suggested protocol for treating collagenous microscopic colitis to prevent loose bowels?
I would be checked for parasites, and eliminate dairy, gluten, and peanut butter. You may consider a consultation, and sending us a diet journal.
Is carrageenan safe?
It is a thickener and can cause inflammation in your gut. I do my best to avoid products with it listed as an ingredient.
What is a safe/effective way to get more quality sleep?
There are many factors to answer this question. What are you doing prior to interrupt your sleep? Oftentimes, I see that stress, a need for vitamin B, and too much caffeine cause restless sleep patterns. If you go to bed at 10, and wake up at 11, you may need B vitamins. If you wake up at 1a, you may have a parasite issue. Waking up at 3a often means a blood sugar challenge.
Besides getting more sleep and/or using some expensive eye cream, what is a safe/effective way to reduce under eye puffiness?
I would avoid dairy and gluten, and drink water.
I’m a vegan who struggles with having consistent/daily bowel movements. It’s driving me crazy! That and not getting enough sleep. What can I eat daily to promote daily bowel movements?
I would recommend having your thyroid checked.
Hello, Dr. Bob. Is it true that if one has cracks on one’s tongue it’s because the spleen isn’t working optimally? Even if it’s not the spleen, what causes cracks?
I would suggest having a complete blood count to get started. In some individuals, a need for B vitamins is important.
I notice other people’s tongues when they speak and they have a beautiful, pink glossy tongue–which looks so healthy. Mine isn’t pink and glossy and, though not visible when I speak or open my mouth, it has cracks when I move my tongue toward the back of my throat.
In my experience, a coated tongue suggests toxicity.
Cherry Hemangiomas – Do these red bumps ever go away?
Clearing your liver is important.
I have this problem, every time I eat any food especially with sugar I start itching, especially around my buttocks and all including my stomach and around. Just a brief description of myself, I am 75 yrs. old 5′ 6″ weigh about 184 Lbs. I need your help.
Sugar does deplete calcium, which can result in itchy skin. Adrenal fatigue can also be an issue.
