What I Eat

#AskDrBob: What I Eat, Colon Pain, Seasonal Allergies

Hi Everyone!

These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including what I eat. If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present them in an upcoming episode. Thank you!

I really want you to talk about colon issues. Especially pain in the right side of my colon and a lot of gas in the morning. I canceled my appointments and got a colonoscopy because I want to heal myself naturally. I eat healthy. But my issue is I’m anxious all the time.

For your colon, the first suggestion based on your explanation would be to do the FIT Test to evaluate what foods you are sensitive to.

What type of apple should we eat?

I eat organic honeycrisp apples.

Dr. Bob! Can you do a video on what you consume these days? I’ve been a HUGE & LONGTIME fan of yours, over 10+ years of watching your stuff. First found out about you on the YouTube channel “iHealthTube” so many years ago and loved you then. I believe you did an interview with them, and you drank reverse osmosis with I think pink Himalayan salt; but what’s your choice these days?

For what I eat, I focus on non-starchy green veggies and organic animal protein.

Also, do you have any information on the popular Kangen water? Thoughts & Opinions?

I do not have experience with Kangen water.

Any recommendations for my 5 year old daughters seasonal allergies? She’s been fighting it off and on for a few weeks with intermittent croupy cough as well. She’s also got a stuffy nose and mucus drainage. I’ve tried Genexa Kids Allergy Care but it didn’t seem to help. She takes a daily liquid multivitamin and probiotics. Thanks so much! You’re a true blessing!

Seasonal allergies from my experience are often impacted by food choices. I would avoid sugar, wheat, dairy and peanut butter. You may consider a Thyroid Panel.

What do the white moons on our nails tell us about our health? I noticed I just have a little moon on my thumb, however other people have noticeable moons on their nails?

Everyone is different. The fingernail moons are the rounded shadows at the base of your nails. A fingernail moon is also called a lunula, which is Latin for little moon. The place where each nail begins growing is known as the matrix. This is where the new cells are made that will make up the nail. The lunula is part of the matrix. You may consider a CBC with differential.
