White Blood Cells

#AskDrBob: White Blood Cells

Hi Everyone!

These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including white blood cells. If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present it in an upcoming episode. Thank you!

I had cold hands & feet for years; was told it was Raynaud’s but no testing was done. Several years ago I was diagnosed with Gilbert’s disease because my liver enzymes were elevated (& still are). Was told no cure for either one. Last year I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s & put on WP Thyroid. Now having stomach issues; just had an abdominal/pelvic CT scan done, don’t have results yet. Just heard you talk about liver problems with Jonathan in his fatty liver webinar.

I have every symptom you mentioned for liver/gallbladder issues except for the shoulder pain (right knee pain when I used to run, spider/varicose veins, digestive distress, constipation, depression, premenopausal but used to have heavy flow & tender breasts, red dogs on skin (was told it was sun damage but knew differently. What should I do now? And should I continue taking the WP thyroid?

I also have a 27 year old son who is developmentally 9 months to 2 years, brain damage at birth, panhypopituitarism about 12 years ago, put on lots of meds & now has seizures. he’s not doing very well at all recently with several hospitalizations. My daughter (21) was born with a cleft palate & a heart murmur which cleared up on its own, had surgery for bilateral inguinal hernias, & recently diagnosed with hormonal imbalance. Help! Thanks!

I would suggest you read the Gallbladder Chapter in “Dr. Bob’s Guide to Prevent Surgery.” That would be a good start.

For those of us without gallbladders, how do we know how much Ox Bile to take at meals? For example, so many mg of Ox Bile to so many grams of Fat consumed in a meal. If we take too much Ox Bile, will there be a reaction that will let us know, that was too much?

You would need to monitor your body signals and amount of digestive distress. The gallbladder is a reservoir of bile. Bile is created in the liver and is excreted base on the need at the time. So you would need to evaluate what and how much fat you are ingesting and work out your protocol. You may consider an Opti-Chem Profile.

Any help with bunions? I do not want surgery!

I would seek out a skilled Podiatrist/Orthopedic surgeon for the best course of action.

Dr Bob, What are the best essential oils to inhale to help emphysema please?

I am not familiar enough with the oils to comment. We use Oorganik-15 and Pneuma-Zyme.

Could you expand more on how this injected heavy metal toxicity would affect your liver / gallbladder, kidneys and how to naturally remedy those affects.

The liver is a major detoxifier in the body. We support liver function by suggesting a sulfur food-based diet; eggs, onions, garlic, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. You can eat them raw, steamed, sautéed or baked. Avoid placing toxic products in and on your body. You may consider Chlorella.

I am thinking about purchasing an elliptical stair climbing machine, and I would like to have your opinion of that equipment?

I would walk outside or steps. Steps are everywhere.

We have had an issue for years that we have been unable to get any relief or answer to. I’ve asked my doctor, nurses and Chiropractor. They all look at me bewildered. I get “itching” in my feet, and/or across the top of my toes. My brothers, niece and my daughter (at times) get it. It’s not really an “itch”, but that’s the best way I can describe it. It’s more of an internal irritation.  I’m unable to wear shoes that I cannot get out of INSTANTLY.

Recently, I had an episode where it lasted three hours!! I can feel it when it’s coming, and there’s nothing I can do. It starts out as a “tingling” in my foot. And within minutes, it’s full blown!!  It’s like every nerve in my foot/feet is under attack. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to keep your shoe(s) on. I have to scrub my foot/feet across something rough to remotely give me a minute of relief.

There’s no pain with it, just this unbearable, tingling itching/irritation. It has awaken me from a sound sleep, and I MUST get out of bed and scrub my foot across the carpet, or use a back scratcher. It was suggested that I was low in Magnesium. So, I take Magnesium every day, and have been for ages. I even purchased Magnesium oil and lotion and put those on my feet.  And there are times we get it in our fingers. That does not last long, but the feet are different.

I would suggest you start with the Omega Test and an Opti-Chem Profile (see above for link) to determine your fat/oil levels. We/I have had success using Blackcurrant Seed Oil, adrenal support and a Calcium/Magnesium/Potassium product. And finally you will want to rule out parasites with a CBC including a differential and or a nutritional microscopy.

How do you get your white blood cell count to increase?

I would need to see your entire lab profile; for example you may not be digestion which can be assessed by looking at your globulin level? Or you may be acid or alkaline.  I would want to know if you have increased or decreased neutrophils which suggests a bacteria issue and or lymphocytes which suggest a viral challenge.

My husband is wondering if there is anything else besides surgery for his knee, as he was told his pain is caused from bone on bone. He had ACL surgery back in the 90’s and was told that eventually he would need knee replacement surgery. End of October he had a series of 3 injections to help with the discomfort, but they don’t seem to be working. Would you have any suggestions?

I do not know since I have not assessed your husband of his results.

Currently taking complex B vitamin, do I need take B12 instead?

I would need to see your entire profile to make a determination.

How do you test and kill such parasites and Candida? We need your help Dr Bob!!

In our office we look at the CBC with differential – the Eosinophil count. and also, we use a Phase contrast microscope. I encourage our patients to focus on sulfur foods. Parasites like pastries and sugar/fruit. They do not like sulfur; eggs, onion, garlic, broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower.

Hello Sir! I recently got slammed while playing basketball. A kid fell on the side of my knee and it has been in pain since. What might the issue be and how can I fix it?

I do not know enough. You can visit me in Westlake, OH or Naples Florida.
