Gallbladder & Fatty Liver

#AskDrBob: Gallbladder & Fatty Liver, Glaucoma, Soy

Hi Everyone!

These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including your gallbladder & fatty liver. If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present it in an upcoming episode. Thank you!

Good evening, Dr. Bob! I just listened to Part One of the Fatty Liver Docuseries. I did have my gallbladder removed 4 months ago and I am doing well compared to many others, but have been looking for expert advice for a while now. You do mention a supplement to increase liver function (reducing its size) and I keep hearing ”bovine bile.” What can I do?

For your gallbladder & fatty liver, I would suggest reading “Dr. Bob’s Drugless Guide to Prevent Surgery.” I have a chapter on the gallbladder and what to do if it has been removed. There is a specific protocol to pursue including taking a product called Beta Plus from Biotics Research to provide bile when you are eating any fatty food. I also suggest a bile thinner; we use Beta TCP and it would be wise to support liver function. We use a proprietary product from Biotics called Livotrit Plus. Feel free to contact us for further information at customercare@druglessdoctor.com.

Does soy cause inflammation?

Soy, from my experience, tends to reduce zinc in the body. Zinc is important to create an anti-inflammatory fat-like tissue hormone called prostaglandin 1 and 3, or PG 1 and 3 for short. PG 3 is a part of the omega-3 fat metabolic pathway and helps reduce pain.

What causes glaucoma? Is there anything I can do with diet, lifestyle, etc., to slow down the progression?

We use two products from Biotics Research Corp. called Carbamide Plus and Optic Plus to manage glaucoma.
