Hyperthyroidism
Hi Everyone!
These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including hyperthyroidism. If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present it in an upcoming episode. Thank you!
I suffer from hyperthyroidism. My doctor has put me on methimazole 1 tablet daily for 2nd month now. I am 57 – I suffer from multiple chemical sensitivities- what can heal my thyroid naturally? My blood test results came out border line.
We do have a protocol for hyperthyroidism. I would need to see your results (Thyroid Panel) and look at your lifestyle habits prior to creating a plan. You may have a food sensitivity or a hormone imbalance? More about your thyroid here.
Bovine bile – How do we know if we need it?
I speak about this in “Dr. Bob’s Guide to Prevent Surgery” in the “Gallbladder” Chapter- I discuss in detail bovine bile use.
If I eat shredded vegetables like carrots, broccoli, beets, some can end up unchanged in my stool. Beans and corn can end up down there unchanged too. My transit time is good, so what is going on here?
You may consider a digestive enzyme. We use Hydro-Zyme (take one mid-meal)
When I take Berberine, my stool often looks fuzzy; texture is not smooth. What is going on here?
I am not sure, I would need to know more about you.
What is your opinion on the various extra ingredients found in most supplements…like microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, etc.?
They can create an imbalance. I would focus on products with the least amount of ingredients if possible.
Part One: I know you have mentioned we should be having at least 2 bowel movements a day, but what amount is considered too much or too frequently?
Two daily is a good frequency.
Part Two: And does color matter? Color does tell you what may be going on in the colon.
Brown is best. Blood in the stool suggests colon inflammation. Tarry stools could be a sign of an ulcer.
