Insomnia

#AskDrBob: Insomnia

Hi Everyone!

These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including insomnia. If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present it in an upcoming episode. Thank you!

I watched you in the fatty liver docuseries  and remember you saying something to do for eye floaters. Would you mind telling me again what to do for them?

I recommend eating carrots for eye floaters. You may consider The Chef’s Garden Home Delivery.

Hello Dr. Bob. What can I do about having cataracts, dry eyes, eye health? Also, I was told that I have a paralyzed diaphragm, (shortness of breath). What can be done? I would really appreciate your help.

Thank you for your question. Cataracts can be precipitated by a calcium-phosphorus imbalance. I talk about this in my Dr. Bob’s Guide to Prevent Surgery. I would also suggest an Opti-Chem Profile lab test and look at your calcium and phosphorus ratios. It should be 10 parts calcium, to 4 parts phosphorus. Heavy on the calcium side may result in kidney stones, arthritis, joint pain, cataracts, and tartar on the teeth. The diaphragm on the other hand can be precipitated by a number of factors. I would recommend visiting a Chiropractor and having a thorough spinal checkup.

What are your recommendations for treating mold toxicity, hypertension, low testosterone, fatty liver, and candida?

This is quite a bit much for an #AskDrBob. I can tell you simply, that whatever you are doing, it would be wise to modify. You may consider a personal appointment with me. Use code Wellness10 to receive 10% off your first consultation.

I take Amitryptiline to help me sleep. Would love to get off it but can’t. Melatonin, 5 HTP, tryptophan, valerian, GABA, and kava have not helped. Any suggestions for insomnia?

I would suggest having your blood pressure tested sitting, then standing. Adrenal fatigue is a common cause of insomnia. Also, you may be deficient in zinc, and have blood sugar stress.

Does having higher levels of heavy metals in you set you up for easier systemic Candida overgrowth?

I am sure heavy metal toxicity can be a factor. Sugar, fruit, and grains (pizza, etc.) are all factors. Plus, antibiotic usage alters normal flora that can also be a factor.

How often do you think SIBO is really SIFO?

I personally think people use a lot of names for a lot of the same conditions. Look at your basophils on a CBC with differential, and also monocytes and eosinophils. Basophils increase with a gut issue, monocytes with a potential food sensitivity, and eosinophils with parasites.

Why only a half an apple a day and no other fruit? Because of fungus?

It’s actually because of the number of carbs.
