Painful Menstrual Cycle

Painful Menstrual Cycle

Hi Everyone!

These were the questions asked in this episode of #AskDrBob, including a painful menstrual cycle. If you have any general health questions, please email us, askdrbob@druglessdoctor.com, and we will present them in an upcoming episode. Thank you!

What can I do for a painful menstrual cycle?

A painful menstrual cycle could be a structural problem. That means your spine, mostly your pelvis, can impact your female organs if it does not have the very best alignment. Frequently, let’s say that you are a gymnastic individual, you did a lot of dance or cheerleading, and your pelvis is out of alignment, which can impact your menstrual cycle. We also know if somebody has elevated estrogen, which can cause some congestion in your pelvic region, and you may have a larger liver. We determine that by looking at your films, we take standing films of our practice members. So you’re going to want to find a skilled chiropractor in your area. If you don’t know one, you might consider coming to see us in Westlake, Ohio, or Naples, Florida. I may also encourage you to get “Dr. Bob’s Drugless Guide to Balancing Female Hormones.”

I have a chronic cough that is driving me crazy. Please help!

Along the way, I have learned that a dry cough frequently is caused by a potential parasite issue. Often, we see individuals who have a food sensitivity in common foods that can cause a cough. These include citrus, dairy, wheat, and sugar. Sugar can be an issue because it impacts your adrenal glands, and your adrenal glands make natural cortisone – cortisone takes away inflammation. You may consider completing a blood test called a CBC with differential. In a CBC with differential, we’re looking at your eosinophils. If they’re elevated, it possibly could be a parasite involvement. We’re also looking at your monocytes. Monocytes elevate where there’s a food sensitivity, mainly if the number’s above ten, and lymphocytes elevate when you have a virus. That was an excellent question, thank you.

My hair is thinning as I get older – what do you suggest?

I just left the room with a young man who was 32, 33 years old. He’s wearing a ball cap; he took the ball cap off for whatever reason, and he had thinning hair. I had a conversation with him about that. I started using a product from Biotics Research Corporation last April called Hydrolyzed Collagen. I happened to put two scoops in eight ounces of water, and I put it in my blender, throw three ice cubes in it, and it’s made a big difference with integrity and the thickness of my hair, skin, muscle, and nails. We use something called Inositol, which is for the kind of like this back of the head loss of hair. And finally, a low thyroid. Cold hands, cold feet are body signals of a low thyroid, but so is coarse, thin hair. You may consider a TSH, a T3, and a T4.
