#DruglessDetox-A Purification Oil

Picture 103

When you were growing up, did your parents ever warn you if you did something inappropriate, they would make you swallow castor oil as punishment? What they probably did not mention, is that castor oil, when applied topically (and not internally) is one of the most effective healing oils for body purification.

One of the safest detox regimens I personally recommend to patients, and do myself is the application of a castor oil pack. Some of the symptoms which I have seen improvement from others include a positive response to mononucleosis, dysplasia of the cervix return to normal, and a normalization of digestive distress. (The following will answer a few questions about castor oil)

Why is castor oil a healing oil?

Castor oil is a triglyceride of fatty acids, and almost 90 percent of its fatty acid content consists of ricinoleic acid. Ricinoleic acid is only found in castor oil, and because of its high concentration, is thought to be responsible for castor oil’s healing abilities including the prevention of viruses, bacteria, yeast, and molds.

What do I need for a castor oil pack?

First, I recommend discussing your “need” to do a castor oil pack with your healthcare provider. If they think that this would be a wise purification program for you, this is what you need and instructions: (Taken from my “Castor Oil Pack” chapter)

Necessary Articles:

Castor Oil (100 percent pure, cold-pressed)

– Wool Flannel (cotton flannel should not be used)

– Heating Pad

Procedure:

– Fold the wool flannel so that it is three or four layers thick.

– Saturate the wool flannel with castor oil.

– Place the saturated wool flannel in a baking dish and heat slowly in the oven so that the pad becomes hot, but not too hot to place on your skin. Set your oven on low heat and watch your pad carefully and frequently, so it doesn’t burn.

– Rub some oil into the skin on your abdomen.

– Lay the warm-not too hot-wool flannel over your abdomen.

– Cover the plastic wrap.

– Cover with a heating pad for one hour. It is important to keep the area as hot as possible. This is why a heating pad is recommended instead of a hot water bottle. A hot water bottle cools too quickly and does not maintain a consistent, hot temperature.

– When finished, remove the flannel and was your skin.

– Store the flannel in your baking dish covered with plastic wrap or in a ziploc bag. It does not have to be refrigerated. Castor oil is very stable and does not become rancid like other oils.

– If the flannel becomes discolored, other than the normal color of the oil on it, it will probably be due to the drawing of toxins out of your body. When this occurs, was or discard the flannel.

(Note, make sure to wear clothes that can get ‘oily’)

If you do this, I would love to hear about your body’s response.

  1. Do I have to do a total detox? I am on 2 HBP meds and Thyroid med for goiter. I have an enlarged heart and a hernia in the stomach. So gas pushes on my heart and causes my BP to go up.
I have so much trouble with gas that I can’t hardly eat all the good foods that are gassy.
I do have a fatty liver. I think it’s because when I was a very little girl, my Mom stood me on a stool when they butchered the hogs and had me to stir the fat to make lard, and all the fat steam made me so sick. I had a hard time with fumes and eating greasy foods after that.
They wanted to take out my gall bladder because of so many stones, but God blessed me and when I went on the prep for the colonoscopy, all the gall stones were floating on the top of the water. Now, if I have a pain in the gallbladder, I take some soy lecithan which helps a lot. I know you said not too much soy because it washes out the zinc. I am borderline diabetic and than my kidneys were not going good. I’ve been flushing them with vit c and it works great. My legs are feeling a lot better.
I was in a car wreck about 25 yrs. ago and had 3 pinched nerves and a broken vertabrae and bad sciatic. It is really hard for me to excercise. I get an excrutiating pain that feels like something is going to explode, like it felt when my vertabrae broke.
Sorry this is so long. So glad I saw you on Marilyn Hickey’s program.
    Thank you
    God bless.
