#OptimalU-Week 27 Recap

Hi Everyone!

I hope your holiday weekend was full of friends, family, and fireworks. Personally, Deb and I enjoyed time with Dr. A & C, took plenty of bike rides, and walked to the fireworks in our neighborhood. My previous week’s #OptimalU’s began to focus on the previous six months, including meal planning and relationships. Enjoy!

Day 1: Once a day, do something unexpected to bless someone, no strings attached (like holding the door open).

Day 2: Add your favorite fresh herb (or herbs) to your salad, entrees, or side dishes

Day 3, 4, 5: Off

Day 6: Organic vanilla extract can be added to any food-be creative. Try adding it to Dr. Bob’s coffee, and also add coconut oil. Our friends at Swanson Heal Products created a blog on that subject, which I think you will find fascinating. http://www.swansonvitamins.com/blog/kaitlins-blog/coconut-oil-coffee

Day 7: Hi Everyone, I have a few things for you to consider today. Have you ever taken your pH? You use pH strips, which are yellow, put them in your mouth and it will turn a color which will signify if you are acid or alkaline. Preferably, I like to see your pH at 6.5. Today’s #OptimalU is on page 131 and says: If you have pain and drink or eat an orange, limit consumption for one month (normally, a pH that is purple in color is common with those who eat citrus).
